Conference attendees were able to choose from twenty-five workshops and were treated to a thought-provoking General session and two outstanding luncheon presentations. Recognizing that having fun is also important, LAS organized a reception and the trip to a San Francisco Giants baseball game, complete with a ferry break-down at the end of a long day! Ah, the memories…
After California Attorney General Bill Lockyer’s luncheon address on May 1, san Francisco attorney Daniel D. Murphy, a member of the LAS Board of Directors, presented Mr. Lockyer with the LAS Lifetime Achievement Award for this many positive and successful efforts on behalf of California’s seniors.
The 3rd annual Conference will take place at the same venue on April 30 and May 1, 2007.
