LAS presented its second annual conference

Hilton Oakland Airport Hotel

 May 1 and 2, 2006.

The conference was made possible by our Gold Sponsor,  The Foundation of Kazan, McClain, Abrams, Fernandez, Lyons, Farrise & Greenwood and other sponsors listed below

“Congratulations on a spectacular event and I am so please to have been a part o it. Everyone I spoke to thought it was really worthwhile –well organized and very meaningful in substance. I hope to be able to participate in future events. I am soooo proud of all you do”

Bette Epstein at Reed Smith

Conference attendees were able to choose from twenty-five workshops and were treated to a thought-provoking General session and two outstanding luncheon presentations. Recognizing that having fun is also important, LAS organized a reception and the trip to a San Francisco Giants baseball game, complete with a ferry break-down at the end of a long day! Ah, the memories…

Attorney General Bill Lockyer

After California Attorney General Bill Lockyer’s luncheon address on May 1, san Francisco attorney Daniel D. Murphy, a member of the LAS Board of Directors, presented Mr. Lockyer with the LAS Lifetime Achievement Award for this many positive and successful efforts on behalf of California’s seniors.

The 3rd annual Conference will take place at the same venue on April 30 and May 1, 2007.
