van Loben Sels RembeRock Foundation
Legal Assistance for Seniors has a long and successful relationship with the van Löben Sels/RembeRock Foundation based in San Francisco.
This foundation, created by the will of Ernst van Löben Sels who died in Oakland in 1965, has remained true to its mission—to promote social justice through legal advocacy for the underserved residents and communities of Northern California.
Grants are awarded in the fields of Public Interest Law, Juvenile Justice Reform, Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated individuals, and immigration legal services.
LAS is very appreciative of the support we have received from the van Löben Sels/RembeRock Foundation for our free legal services for seniors.
